EXC THE FLT OPS LISTED BLW AND UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MAUI COUNTY EMERG MANAGEMENT. ALL CREWED AIRCRAFT MUST BE OPERATING UNDER AN ATC CLEARANCE OR INSTRUCTION.

  1. DISASTER RELIEF RESPONSE ACFT.

  2. LAW ENFORCEMENT AND FIRST RESPONDER ACFT.

  3. SCIENTIFIC PURPOSE ACFT.

  4. ACCREDITED MEDIA ACFT.

  5. UAS OPS IF IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE RQMNTS LISTED BLW: A) UAS OPS IN DCT SUPPORT OF LAW ENFORCEMENT, FIREFIGHTING, SAR, OR DISASTER RESPONSE MISSION; B) COMMERCIAL UAS OPS WITH A VALID STATEMENT OF WORK; C) MUST BE IN POSSESSION OF AN APPROVED SPECIAL GOVERNMENTAL INTEREST(SGI) AIRSPACE WAIVER; D) AND COMPLY WITH ALL OTHER APPLICABLE FEDERAL AVIATION REGULATIONS. E) UAS OPR IDENTIFIED IN A OR B ABV MUST APPLY FOR A SGI WAIVER VIA EMAIL AT 9-ATOR-HQ-SOSC@FAA.GOV
